Augmented Chords (or TRIADS because they really only contain 3 notes) are symmetrical equal interval triads where the notes are all a major 3rd apart. They sound like a musical "surprise". They are often used as a substitution for the V chord. These fingerings can all be used as MOVABLE FORMS that can be moved up and down the fretboard to play in all 12 keys.
